companies.
The Phase I project covers a land area of approximately 100,000 square meters. A 20,000 square meters production facility designed to produce high quality cGMP and non-GMP basic materials and APIs, which will be completed soon, has been designed in accordance with international standards. The Phase I project is expected to be put into full production in early 2009. With an annual capacity of more than 30 tons, a production value of RMB1.5 billion (approx. $US 215 million) is expected to be realized in 3 years as part of the Phase I project. |

The new cGMP production base, which received its investment from Asymchem Laboratories (Tianjin) Co.,Ltd., will significantly improve Asymchem’s mass production ability and further enhance Asymchem’s position as a leading CMO and Contract Research Organization (CRO) provider in China after its completion. Two factors, self-sufficient basic materials and stable sales of APIs, can ensure the growth of Asymchem Laboratories (Jilin).
Dr. Hong emphasized during his speech at the ceremony that the new facility is expected to bring advanced management concepts and industry standards to Dunhua, while creating more employment opportunities for local residents.
