Angela was set-up in the year 1977 by Francesco Consolaro, who was already working intensely in the field of Pharmaceutical Packaging from the 1960's on, to carry out research into packaging techniques and the development of
equipment to realize modern primary packaging for parenteral solutions.
Since then, BREVETTI ANGELA has closely collaborated with the pharmaceutical industries to address its need for primary packaging. The
fruit of intense effort at the cutting-edge of technology, is crystallised
in the latest generation of blow-fill-seal equipment called SYFPAC/LIQUIDPAC,
MECAS, BAGPAC and SACKPAC machines.In summary, manufacturers of
pharmaceutical products have particular demands, which depend on the type
of product, the regulatory requirements, the stability and compatibility
of the product with the packaging material, the cost element and the
potential end-user the coming years. These demands require customized equipment to fulfil each set of constraint.

PACKAGING PRODUCTS OFFERING
SYFPAC:
SYstem for Filling Parenterals Aseptically into Containers of plastic materials.
The SYFPAC system has been conceived by the creative application of fantasy, engineering design and through knowledge of advanced materials and techniques to fulfil the requirements for most demanding applications. The SYFPAC is simple to operate and maintain, would perform reliably year after year and has been specifically designed for aseptic packaging of the pharmaceutical solutions for hemo-filtration.
MECAS
Machine for Eurohead Cap Assembling and Sealing. Multiple hot-runner injection molding units as opposed to a multi-cavity mold allows simultaneous sealing of caps, limiting line loses and optimizing production. The MECAS unit enables:
- Automatic assembly of the Eurohead cap from its basic components, i.e., the rubber disc and the plastic capsule;
- Automatic placing of the assembled cap onto the bottle
- Automatic orientation of the rubber disk;
- Automatic sealing to the semi-rigid plastic bottle by injection molding.
Each unit is custom-built and can be modified to meet specific requirements.
THE MOLDS AND MATERIALS
Graduated multicavity molds in AISI stainless steels and special bronze alloys, with advanced cooling and vacuum circuits machined within the mold, enable the production of uniform packages with long mold life. Insert are provided for batch coding and company logo. Judicious use of pharmaceutically compatible materials and self-lubricating parts ensures a sanitized machine for use in pharmaceutical clean rooms to fill even corrosive solutions and guarantees an optimal performance as well! The ergonomical layout of standard reliable components gives easy access for maintenance and cleaning purposes.

A vacuum generator and an automatic deflashing device are incorporated within the machine. The hydraulic system is provided with electronically regulated proportional control valves for smoother operations.
PRIMARY PACKAGING
Primary packaging of wide variety of pharmaceutical solutions can done using SYFPAC machine. The container size can range from 0,5 ml to 10 litres. This primary packaging, made of medical grade PP or PE as the starting raw material, is divided into three major categories, as follow:
Small Volume Paranterals (SVP)
Filling volume: 0.5 ml to 50 ml
Types of products: Opthalmological preparations in acqueous or oil solutions, ear drops and nose drops, sterile water for injection and other preparations.
Large Volume Parenterals (LVP)
Filling volume: 100 ml to 2000 ml
Types of products: Intravenous solutions.
Very Large Volume Parenterals (VLVP)
Filling volume: 2500 ml to 10 litres
Type of products: Concentrates for haemodialysis and irrigation fluids.
