PRESSPART - INNOVATION
Innovation is central to the Presspart story. Turning raw material into a finished product that is precision manufactured down to the last micron requires complex and highly sophisticated processes. We look to innovate in every area of our business: new processes, new products and new technologies. In our products we are developing our own range of new coatings for MDI cans to improve chemical stability and reduce drug adhesion. We are looking ahead to the future challenges of the market as well to ensure that our coatings have the very best chance to satisfy future regulatory requirements.

Innovation in our processes is an everyday event at Presspart. Our plants are state-of-the-art with the most efficient processes available to ensure our customers are kept as competitive as we are. We have huge experience in engineering, tool design, manufacturing and quality processes which ensure that our projects deliver both innovative and first-class results. One of Pressparts recent innovations has been to develop a special anodized aluminium can and stainless steel metering valve stem for use in a new inhalation device for insulin.
This device will reduce the need for injections and could revolutionize the lives of many diabetics.

We have extensive experience in inspection technologies covering both camera systems and also eddy current testing. At the same time we have developed customer-specific cleaning and packaging solutions to improve quality and logistics.
Reduction of waste and improved utilisation of resources has also been part of our philosophy leading to reduced or returnable packaging solutions. Increasingly, Presspart is moving into the production of sub-assemblies, to reduce costs and complexity for customers, whilst improving the product quality.
